Auroranlinna is a non-profit rental housing company owned by the City of Helsinki. We own approximately 6,000 apartments in various parts of Helsinki, both in our own properties and in housing companies.

Auroranlinna is a real estate company owned by the City of Helsinki. Auroranlinna has more than 6,000 self-financed rental apartments, of which 4,200 are located in properties wholly owned by the company in various parts of Helsinki.

The number of apartments includes the individual 1,863 apartments owned by Auroranlinna in various Helsinki condominiums (Auroranlinna osakehuoneistot).

Many of the company’s apartments are rented out as employment apartments for the City of Helsinki. In addition, the city of Helsinki has rented a few apartments for customer apartments. In these so-called sublet apartments, Auroranlinna enters into a lease agreement with the city’s industries or businesses. The resident, on the other hand, has a tenancy relationship with the unit of the city of Helsinki from which he/she got the apartment, so not with Auroranlinna.

Those apartments in Auroranlinna, that are not needed for re-letting at the time are vacated, are rented directly to those in need of housing through OVV Asuntopalvelut.

Auroranlinna’s rental buildings have business premises in various parts of Helsinki, both in the center of Helsinki and in various suburbs. You can get more information about vacant rental premises during office hours on weekdays from Kiinteistömaailma Oy, which handles them, phone (09) 350 7270.

Auroranlinna buys from various service providers the maintenance and upkeep of the sites, as well as housekeeping and financial management support services, as well as various services related to apartment and property repairs.
