Resident voluntary activities

Auroranlinna supports the residents community-building activities with an annual budget. The purpose is to give opportunities to organize activities and events that increase residents communal spirit and wellbeing.
To start such activities, residents must call up a resident meeting at the buildings club room, where a leader and a deputy person / deputies are elected (3-4 residents total). The head leader of resident activities, together with other people involved in the activity, draws up an annual action plan, budget and submits information about the people involved on the resident activities. These must be sent for approval at Auroranlinna.
The people involved in resident activities must organize a meeting at least every other year, which is intended for all residents of the building and where new people can be elected to the resident activities.
You can get additional instructions for starting resident activities by e-mail at asuntopalvelu @ auroranlinna.fi

For the resident activities, it is possible to make the club room of the house available to all the residents, if there is one in the housing unit. The prerequisite is that a sufficient number of active residents have been elected to the resident activities. The people involved in the residents activity together are responsible for the cleanliness and usage of the club room. Abuse of the club room will result in the closure of the club room.
Resident voluntary activity is an independent activity of the house’s residents, in which Auroranlinna does not participate. No fees are paid for these meetings or participation.
Social room
The residents’ committee manages the use, arrangements for, and cleaning of the social and hobby rooms, unless otherwise agreed. In order for a social room to be made available for use by residents, a residents’ committee must be established and residents responsible for its use nominated.
