Apartments available for general applications

Auroranlinna offers its apartments for rent as privately financed rental apartments. All of available apartments can be found on OVV Asuntopalvelut website. The company’s office is located near Auroranlinna’s own office. The city of Helsinki will no longer select residents for Auroranlinna apartments.

All the apartments to own applications

Add all the apartments you are interested in to their own applications. You can find more detailed instructions for making an application at OVV’s website (direct link above or) under ovv.com/en “For rent” and then choose location “Helsinki Auroranlinna”. After that the page will show all the rental apartments to be searched for. You can organize the apartments by date, rent or size. After clicking on the apartment, there on the left side of the page is button “Submit application”. Fill in the requested information and submit the application. You can also send a message to OVV office.

A rental apartment that looks like your own

You can decorate your home to look like yourself, for example by attaching boards or shelves you like to the walls. The TV wall mount can also be attached, but taking into account the load-bearing capacity of the wall material (e.g. plaster wall or concrete wall).
Please also note that in damp rooms you cannot make attachments that break the surface of the walls.
If you are inspired to paint the walls in your favorite colors, please remember to restore the walls by painting them painter’s white before you move out. If you have painted walls with the colors of the Auroranlinna paint package, restoration is not necessary.

Apartments in good locations

The rental apartments are located in properties wholly owned by Auroranlinna and in several hundred housing corporations in good locations in different parts of Helsinki. In addition, one rental apartment property can also be found in Kirkkonummi.

As a rule, rental apartments are rented with lease agreements that are valid for an indefinite period and there is no rental deposit in them. The apartments have surface materials with a quality guarantee. Pets are also welcome in Auroranlinna apartments.

Many of Auroranlinna’s properties around Helsinki also have business spaces for rent, which you can get more information from the entity responsible for entering into lease agreements, Kiinteistömaailma Oy, tel. (09) 350 7270.

Auroranlinna is part of the Helsinki city group. It is a responsible and non-profit landlord whose operations are guided by the values of the city of Helsinki.
