HSY’s Sortti collection vehicles will be on the road again from 31 March 2025.

The collection tour, beginning at the end of March, will make stops across the Helsinki metropolitan area and Kirkkonummi.

The vehicles accepts household hazardous waste, as well as metal, electrical and electronic scrap free of charge. Each waste type has its own dedicated collection vehicle.

Household hazardous waste includes items such as paints, varnishes, adhesives, motor oil and batteries. Metal scrap includes items like bicycles, frying pans and laundry racks. For example, washing machines, televisions, electric toothbrushes or telephones should be taken to the trucks that recycle electrical and electronic equipment.
