Electronic laundry room reservation pilot project starts on 7 April 2026
We will launch a pilot project for an electronic laundry room reservation system in some of our properties on 7 April 2026. The goal is to make reserving laundry slots easier as well as to clarify and improve the efficiency of the use of laundry facilities.
Properties participating in the pilot
The properties selected for the pilot vary in type and are located at the following addresses:
- Kankaretie 1
- Klaneettitie 9 / Sitratie 5
- Klaneettitie 11 / Sitratie 3
- Laajasuontie 32
- Paulankatu 2
- Pihkatie 6
During the pilot, laundry room slots will be reserved electronically instead of using the traditional reservation book or lock. The system identifies the person making the reservation based on their unique phone number.
We will collect residents’ experiences and feedback on the system during the pilot. This will help us assess whether the electronic reservation system should be adopted permanently.
Reserving a slot during the pilot
Once the pilot has started, a slot can be reserved in three ways:
- Using an app installed on a smartphone (the primary method)
- Via the service provider’s website, if a smartphone is not available
- By calling the service provider’s customer service number, if a computer is not available
This means that all adult residents will still be able to make reservations regardless of the device they use.
The reservation calendar is open two months in advance. A resident may have up to two active reservations at a time. Available time slots run between 8am and 9pm. At the start of the pilot, traditional reservation books and locks will be discontinued.
